D250

The DJB D250 Articulated Dump Truck was introduced in 1975 and only produced in England. This machine has a Caterpillar 3306 TA Diesel, six-cylinder engine producing 235Hp flywheel horsepower.

Subsequently DJB developed the D250B and then appeared after the DJB acquisition by Caterpillar in 1985 the Caterpillar D250D, D250E and D250E Series II until 2000 as the final model in the D250 series.

Then the new models where launched as the "700" series as a full line member of the Caterpillar program.

Of the D250 series Articulated Dump Trucks in 1:50th scale are made the D250E and D250E Series II, which are both released by NZG. In addition, my collection also includes custom built scale models of the D250D Water tanker from Otter Bro Customs (OBC) and the Caterpillar D250E Series II with Humphrey Fuelmaster F170 from Ben Gelijk.
