BouwmachinesvanToen Museum - Open House December 2025

The BouwmachinesvanToen Museum, in Vinkel, The Netherlands is a young museum with old working construction machines where the history of Dutch civil engineering equipment comes to life, an experience for young and old, a unique location for enthusiasts and a challenging environment for volunteers.

In addition to the museum visit, the BouwmachinesvanToen Museum also offers an excellent opportunity for meetings, receptions, gatherings, (company) parties or events such as the annual BouwmachinesvanToen Swapmeeting.

As a special guest, MiniMovers was present on Sunday 28th December, showcasing the latest Caterpillar scale models and the limited edition Caterpillar D5 LGP Dozer, launched this week in 1:50 scale and featuring the Martens en Van Oord company colors.

The model of the Caterpillar D5 LGP Dozer "MVO" with VPAT Blade in 1:50th scale made by Diecast Masters in diecast in an Exclusive and Limited Edition for Martens en Van Oord is available!

The Caterpillar D5 LGP Dozer "MVO" is not only the first official Caterpillar scale model released by Diecast Masters for Martens en Van Oord, but in addition to the well-known fresh white and green MVO house colors, it has another unique feature that sets the scale model apart from the previously released Caterpillar D5 LGP Dozer in the standard Caterpillar colors: At the request of Martens en Van Oord, the model is equipped with a working and functional VPAT dozer blade. So it is truly a worldwide first.
